Barry Burke Cup – Connacht Post-Primary Schools
Recently the Connacht GAA Post Primary Schools Championship Competitions introduced 4 new Trophies. One of the Cups perpetuates the memory of one of our clubmen, the late Barry Burke. The Barry Burke Cup will be awarded to the winners of the Senior C Competition. The Cup was presented to Colm Burke, Barry’s father by Galway GAA President Christy Tyrell, Frank Burke President of the Connacht Council and John Fahey Colleges Representative at an event hosted by NUIG, the sponsors of the Competitions.
